The Spring High School CTE Agriculture students were invited to attend a private demonstration of the 1st Cavalry Division Horse Cavalry Detachment from Fort Cavazos.
Our CTE Engineering students are starting to take their Industry-Based Certification practice tests! These two Engineering students passed their first practice test today! Soon, they will have an Industry-Based Certificate in Autodesk Inventor.

February is National CTE Awareness Month. CTE stands for Career and Technical Education. Today we would like to spotlight a CTE Teacher here at Spring High School.
Mrs. Ashley teaches the Culinary Arts classes.
Mrs. Ashley has taught at Spring High School for one year and has taught a total of 5 years.
She sponsors SkillsUSA Culinary.
Mrs. Ashley believes that CTE courses are significant for real and whole experiences.

The Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) evaluates students' readiness for college-level coursework in English Language Arts and Mathematics. It helps identify whether students need additional support before enrolling in college-level courses. A passing score in English or Math qualifies students to begin taking dual credit courses.
A free TSIA2 test will be offered on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Carl Wunsche High School. Students may test in only one subject area (English or Math) and must be registered to participate. The registration deadline is March 16th.

El Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) evalúa la preparación de los estudiantes para cursos de nivel universitario en Artes del Lenguaje en Inglés y Matemáticas. Ayuda a determinar si los estudiantes necesitan apoyo adicional antes de inscribirse en cursos universitarios. Un puntaje aprobado en Inglés o Matemáticas les permite comenzar a tomar cursos de crédito dual.
Se ofrecerá una prueba gratuita del TSIA2 el sábado 22 de marzo de 2025, de 8:00 AM a 12:00 PM, en Carl Wunsche High School. Los estudiantes pueden presentar el examen en solo una materia (Inglés o Matemáticas) y deben estar registrados para participar. La fecha límite de inscripción es el 16 de marzo.
