Our Spring High School Culinary Arts students popped up at the Spring ISD Administration Building today and brought major food-truck energy with them!
On the menu created entirely by our students:
✨ Handcrafted wraps
✨ Market-fresh salads with homemade dressings
✨ Banana pudding that disappeared way too fast 😄
They set up in full food truck style, served district staff with professionalism and pride, and brought all the flavor and fun.
This is what CTE learning looks like at Spring High — creative, hands-on, and absolutely delicious.

This week, our Spring High School CTE Culinary Arts students demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism as they planned, prepared, and served a full Thanksgiving meal for over 300 teachers and staff.
A special thank you to Chef Jefferson and Chef Ashley, whose leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence made this event possible. Their guidance empowered our students to execute every part of the experience—from menu planning and food preparation to presentation and service—with remarkable precision.
This annual tradition not only brings our campus community together but also highlights the real-world learning and high expectations embedded in our CTE programs.

Spring High School is proud to announce that Moises Discua has officially been elected as the T.A.F.E. Area 4 President for the 2026–2027 school year! This is a HUGE accomplishment and a testament to Moises’s leadership, professionalism, and passion for the teaching profession.
As Area 4 President, Moises will serve as an ambassador for TAFE and future educators across the region. His year-long leadership role includes:

✨ Participating in officer trainings, workshops, and statewide leadership events

Mr. Hampton shared real-world insights about his career path, daily responsibilities, and the unique nursing skills required in his field. Our students enjoyed hearing about the challenges, rewards, and purpose behind correctional healthcare—and walked away inspired and more informed about the many pathways within the nursing profession. 💉🩺

Today, our Advanced Animal Science students had the incredible opportunity to learn from the Houston SPCA, the Gulf Coast’s oldest animal welfare organization! 💚 Students explored topics like responsible pet ownership, animal safety, and careers in animal care — all while gaining a deeper understanding of kindness and empathy toward animals.
