Main Campus, please note that the 9th Grade Center has a separate dress code.

As we prepare for the start of the 2025–2026 academic year, it is imperative that all students and families understand and adhere to the updated expectations regarding Dress Code, Cell Phone Usage, and Backpack Policy. These guidelines are in place to ensure a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment for all.

📌 DRESS CODE EXPECTATIONS
Students are expected to present themselves in a manner that reflects dignity and respect for the educational environment. All attire must align with our campus standards of decency, safety, and professionalism.

Young Ladies:
The following attire will not be permitted:

Tops that expose the midriff, including cropped shirts or tops that ride up.

Open-toe shoes, slides, sandals, or slippers of any kind.

Spaghetti-strapped shirts, low-cut tops, or tops that expose cleavage or undergarments.

Skirts more than two inches above the knee.

Tights, leggings, or any body-hugging garments worn as pants.

Any clothing deemed provocative, revealing, or inappropriate for a learning environment.

Young Men:
The following items are prohibited on campus:

Wave caps, skull caps, ski masks, or any type of head covering not approved by the dress code.

Sagging pants – pants must be worn at the waist, and undergarments should not be visible at any time.

Wife beaters or tank tops worn as outerwear.

Slides, Crocs, house shoes, or any footwear not securely fastened.

Students who arrive at school out of dress code will be required to contact a parent or guardian for a change of clothes or may face consequences, including, but not limited to ISS.

📵 CELL PHONE POLICY
In alignment with House Bill 1481, student use of cell phones and other personal electronic devices is prohibited during instructional time unless explicitly directed by a teacher for educational purposes.

"A school district shall adopt a policy prohibiting a student enrolled in the district from using a cellular telephone or other telecommunications device during instructional time."

All students must turn off and store their phones during class. Unauthorized use will result in confiscation and disciplinary action in accordance with the district’s code of conduct. Please click HERE to review the House Bill in its entirety.

🎒 BACKPACK POLICY
For the safety and security of our campus, all backpacks must be mesh or clear.

Any backpack that does not meet these requirements will be confiscated and held until a parent or guardian picks it up.

Repeated violations may result in further disciplinary consequences.
