Dear Mighty Lion Family,

As we begin the school year, we want to ensure that all students are set up for success by following our campus expectations. Please carefully review the following guidelines:

Dress Code

Headwear: Students may not wear anything on their heads during the school day (hats, caps, scarves, bonnets, etc.).

Jeans: Young ladies may wear jeans without holes. If jeans have holes or tears, tights must be visible underneath.

Clothing Fit: Tight-fitting clothing is not permitted.

Shoes: Sandals, house shoes, and slides are not permitted. Crocs are allowed but must be worn in Sport Mode (heel strap secured).

Non-Compliance: Students out of dress code will:

Call a parent to bring the correct attire, OR

Be provided a change of clothes to wear for the day and return at dismissal, OR

Serve in-school suspension (ISS) if no solution can be found.

Prohibition of Metal Cups

For safety reasons, Stanley Cups or any other metal cups are not allowed. Students may only bring plastic cups or water bottles to school.

House Bill 1481 – Cell Phone and Electronic Device Policy

In compliance with House Bill 1481, the use of cell phones and all other personal electronic devices (including smartwatches, tablets, earbuds, etc.) is prohibited during instructional the instructional day. Devices must be powered off and put away during the school day. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action in accordance with district policy.

We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe, distraction-free, and respectful learning environment. Let’s work together to make this a successful year for every Mighty Lion!

Dear Mighty Lion Family,

The time has come! Tomorrow is the First Day of School! As you arrive on campus, please follow these steps to ensure a smooth start:

Locate Your Name & 1st Period Class
Upon entering campus, look for the posted rosters placed in various locations.
These rosters will list each student’s name along with their 1st period class.

Proceed to Your 1st Period Class
Once you’ve found your name, head to your assigned 1st period room.
Upon arrival, your 1st period teacher will provide you with your complete class schedule and any additional instructions for the day.

We recommend arriving a few minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to locate your name and class. Staff members will be available around campus to help answer any questions and guide you if needed.

Reminder: Beginning tomorrow, August 12th, all cell phones must be powered off and put away BEFORE entering the building.

We can’t wait to welcome our Mighty Lions back for an exciting new school year!

My Best. Your Best. Our Best.
