Updates from this weekend:
Mustang Classic -Joshua Jameson and Natalie Hernandez finished 1st in Duet acting, Aaleyah Davis and Janelle Thomas finished 2nd in Duo Interpretation, and Aaleyah Davis finished 6th in Poetry.
Tiger Classic - Joshua Jameson and Natalie Hernandez finished 1st in Duet Acting. Their 2 wins this weekend gives them enough points to qualify for the Texas Forensic Association state tournament in March!
Yesterday, 9 of our theatre students attended the Greater Houston Collegiate Showcase. Korin Sauceda and Laila Lopez presented their tech theatre portfolios to over 25 colleges and universities. Frank Bsstian, Arianna Washington, David Robinson, Ayden Martin, Janelle Thomas, Abeer Siddiqui, and Mikayla Zepeda each performed a 3 minute audition for the schools. The rep from Loyola University was so impressed with our students that she stepped out of the audition room to talk to all of our students before we left. All 9 have been invited by at least one school to attend the College Night tonight at Klein High School!
